Robert M. Harwood has been affiliated with the firm since 1971. He received a B. A. (magna cum laude) from the University of Idaho in 1969 and a J.D. (cum laude) from the same institution in 1969. As an undergraduate, he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi scholastic honoraries, one of 10 outstanding university seniors, and a Northwest Rhodes Scholarship Finalist. As a law student he was an editor of the Idaho Law Review, a member of the National Moot Court Team, and President of Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity. In the 1980’s he lead two American mountaineering expeditions in the Himalayas. He is a member of the American Alpine Club and a founding board member of the American Mountain Federation. |

His practice includes business, corporate, real estate, construction law and mediation elements with an emphasis on litigation. His trial experience includes both defending and prosecuting personal injury cases, major product liability matters, premises liability issues, and extensive experience in the defense of legal malpractice and employment discrimination cases. While Mr. Harwood resides in Ketchum, Idaho, and manages the firm’s Blaine County office, he regularly handles matters throughout Idaho. |
