Our attorneys actively work in the field of construction law, representing owners, general contractors, and numerous suppliers and subcontractors in both residential and commercial construction matters. For many clients, the firm prepares agreements and procedures, and provides advice to protect their interests prospectively. To do so, the firm works hand in hand with the client reviewing and updating contracts, credit agreements, lien procedures and security agreements before the client signs the contract or makes the deal.

Anthony Valdez provides the highest quality representation to the accused, from DUI and traffic violations to the most serious felony offenses. Mr. Valdez has many years experience in the criminal Courts, and is on the Idaho Supreme Court’s roster of qualified counsel for appointment in death penalty cases.
We provide counsel on the environmental laws and regulations, which affect all industrial, agricultural and commercial enterprises. Our experience has been in the area of environmental issues as they relate to the acquisition, development, operation, and sale of real property, as well as negotiating and defending against enforcement actions brought by regulatory agencies, including hazardous substances, air and water quality, underground storage tanks, and other issues of current concern.
LITIGATION/TRIALS & APPEALS
Our Litigation Department is one of our strongest areas of practice. All of our partners have extensive civil trial experience while we have experienced criminal attorneys as well. We utilize the individual experience of each attorney in the areas in which he or she is the most knowledgeable. We have strong research capability and excellent paralegal support staff.
Litigation today has become very expensive. The first choice must always be to avoid litigation. Where possible, we look for every alternative solution to a problem before we will recommend that a suit be filed. Where another party is involved, we will attempt to negotiate and settle. Where a governmental agency is involved, we will try first to work with the agency to find mutually beneficiary solutions. In every case, we will search for the option that will best avoid a trip to court.
The foremost component of economic litigation is a realistic analysis of the case. We attempt to avoid any activity in a case that does not afford a chance of benefit sufficient to justify the cost. When we believe that your position is not likely to prevail, we will tell you so with the hope that we can minimize damage. We are highly experienced in most areas of litigation. For example, we regularly practice in state and local courts across the state of Idaho. Further, we pursue appeals through the Idaho Appellate Court system and in the federal system.

Mr. Alexander has, over the past ten years, become increasingly involved as a mediator and arbitrator in broad spectrum civil cases in both the State and Federal Court jurisdictions. He has successfully mediated 100+ cases.
MEDICAL/LEGAL MALPRACTICE
We have extensive trial experience in many areas of malpractice, with special emphasis on medical and legal malpractice actions.
The defense of a product claim requires particular sensitivity. The manufacturer's reputation is at risk. We work side by side with the manufacturer's legal and technical support staff. Our firm has defended a number of manufacturers with products ranging from medical implant devices, to chemicals to multi-piece rims.
